Greetings in the blessed Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will be leaving on April 22 for Africa. We desire your prayer during this time of ministry. During this missionary journey will be visiting three different countries preaching the gospel and feeding the people. The reports from the team that we sent into Sudan have been the need for the gospel message is great. The place where we will be ministering is home to a training center for Muslims. I have also been in touch with a printer who is going to provide materials and resources to us at a reduced cost. We praise God for his burden for missions.
This promises to be the most challenging and difficult trip I have taken. The restrictions of the government in Sudan are different and the climate of the country is still very hostile in spite of the recent vote of national sovereignty on the part of southern Sudan. Due to the United Nations sanctions against that country the common people have been starving and the heat is oppressive so providing the people something to drink is at a premium price it is the most valuable commodity of the country. Sometime in the future if God provides the money to drill a well we could preach to thousands of people due to the temperatures and lack of clean water. Jesus said I am the living water and these people would identify with that message. For example water for 250 people for three days is going to cost us $400 not including the food. We have made contacts with a member of the parliament there who is assisting our efforts in missions and this is a wide open door. We are praying that the light of the gospel will break through the darkness and death that has pervaded this country for so long and God will use us as His vessel during this formative time of the new government of southern Sudan.
The airline tickets and the lodging while we are in Africa has been paid for by the grace of God. At this time we need help with providing food and water and bibles for the people. A $20 dollar donation would provide a study bible to the pastors in Kenya and Uganda. If you would like to help us feed and provide water and bibles for these people please ask God what you should give. All gifts are tax deductible and are very appreciated.
Please remember to keep us in your prayers. We need praying people to join with us now so that the way is prepared before us. The Gospel will have free course and God will break the darkness and hold of Islam in that country with the Life of God and the Light of the Gospel. My friends God is still doing great things! This is nothing short of a miracle. These doors have been opened by God and we plan to walk through them in Jesus Name. I am so glad in the midst of a world that is constantly changing there is Someone Who never ever changes. He is the Anchor for the Future, the Promise of a better tomorrow. I am so glad to know Him. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever!
If you and your church could add Victory Life to your prayer list it would mean so much. Please let us know if we can provide any further information to you.
