Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Who loved us and gave Himself for our sins, and not our sins only, but those of the whole world. I arrived back in home on January 15th from preaching and teaching in Uganda, Africa. There were many who attended this conference particularly one pastor from as far away as Kenya. We were blessed with a wonderful time of fellowship and ministry. According to one pastor nearly the entire village turned out to attend the evangelistic services at night. The first night preaching we were blessed to see a multitude of souls turn from the power of darkness to light and translated into the Kingdom God's Dear Son. Several people voluntarily came forward to testify of healings and gave the honor and glory to the Lord. The hearts of the people are hungry for God and are turning from witchcraft and Islam to the glorious Gospel of Christ!
As a result of this journey, God has opened up doors of ministry into several countries in Africa. We discovered entire churches do not have the Scriptures in their own language. We presented 11 different churches with the Word of God and I cannot describe how it felt to be able to give the Word of God to those pastors. Many are asking for us to please come and share the gospel message and bring God’s Word to the villages. This reminds me of the message of Amos “…there was a famine in those days; not of bread, nor of water but the hearing of the words of the Lord.”
A common message from the natives is that missionaries only come to the cities and not the people of the bush country and jungle. Great meetings take place while the missionaries are preaching but nothing is left behind for teaching the Word. Many pastors do not have Bibles. I believe that God has given us a mandate to start a two week school teaching the basic themes of Scripture enabling pastors to reach their own people with the gospel. We plan to provide the students with a Bible and a manual upon graduation. The students will pray 2 ½ to 3 hours per day and spend 8 hours a day in the Word of God. Our first school will be in western Kenya in the hometown of Barak Obama Sr.’s family. Please pray for this time of ministry.
We are going back to lay the groundwork beginning April 22nd. Since the trip in January several men of God have joined our efforts and I have no doubt that together we can accomplish God’s will in Africa reaching the remote villages for Christ. We will preach in Uganda, Kenya, and Sudan during our April journey. Please pray for us that Pentecost will begin in the rural and remote areas of Africa. God is doing great things!
We need two things for this to be accomplished; first and most important your prayers, and second faithful monthly support. Prayer and promise is the way to get this gospel message to these villages. Please prayerfully consider supporting us on a monthly basis - the gospel cannot move forward without you. We are willing to go if you are willing to send us. The harvest is great but the laborers are few. God bless you so much for your friendship. We pray that He would bless you with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus our Lord! We are anxiously awaiting His return for His Bride. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
In Christ Alone,
